A thrift store branding needs to include a bit of old & a bit of new.
Yours\Mine wanted to create an emphasis on the small differences between what’s considered retro & what’s considered modern. They needed a logo & branding collateral.
I started with some very vibrant & unexpected colors from the 70’s & mixed them with cool, muted colors of today. Geometric shapes are both on trend now, as they were in the 70’s, so I included the basic shape with the branding. I created a very simple shape for a logo holder. I also created a sort of texture with triangles to use with ads & other branding designs that feels very modern. On top of this texture I added vintage photography of fashion, furniture, & youthful scenes.
